About Me & My Studio
Welcome to my private women-only studio in the centre of Eastbourne, just a short walk from the train station.
I offer tattoos, body piercings and permanent makeup in a calm, comfortable and completely judgment-free space.
I’m AuDHD myself, so the studio is proudly neurodivergent-friendly. You never need to worry about masking, being “too much” or needing a quieter appointment.
Feeling chatty? We can talk the whole time. Prefer headphones, Netflix, music or complete silence? That is absolutely fine too.
The studio has Wi-Fi, entertainment, drinks, snacks, charging facilities and a comfortable wide treatment bed, so you can settle in and feel at ease throughout your appointment.

The studio is located just off Gildredge Road, close to Eastbourne train station.
Please follow the directions below rather than relying only on your sat-nav, as the studio entrance can be easy to miss the first time.
Getting Here by Train
Eastbourne train station is only a short walk from the studio.
When leaving the station:
Head straight down Gildredge Road.
Walk past Wetherspoons and Hidden Hearing.
Turn left just before Bate & Albon Solicitors and head down Station Street.
Take the first right.
Continue straight ahead and go up the stairs.

Parking!
For shorter appointments, there are some nearby roads offering limited free parking for up to two hours.
Please always check the signs carefully before leaving your car, as restrictions and maximum stay times can vary.
For longer appointments, I recommend:
Eastbourne Station car park
Usually the best-value option for longer stays and only a short walk from the studio.
The Beacon car park
Another nearby option, particularly for shorter stays.
Please allow extra time to find parking and walk over so you arrive relaxed and ready for your appointment.
Accessibility Information
Please be aware that the studio is not wheelchair accessible.
The entrance requires clients to use stairs and there is no lift available.
Anyone with reduced mobility, difficulty using stairs or other accessibility requirements should contact me before booking so we can discuss whether the space will be suitable.
I want to be completely transparent before you secure an appointment, so please do not hesitate to ask.
Private Women Only Studio
Scarlet Black Cosmetics is a private women-only studio created to help clients feel safe, comfortable and relaxed.
Appointments are carried out one-to-one, so you will not be sitting in a busy shop or surrounded by strangers.
This also means space is limited, so please do not bring guests unless this has been agreed with me beforehand.
Neurodivergent Friendly Appointments
You are welcome to tell me about anything that would help make your appointment easier.
This could include:
A quieter appointment
Wearing headphones
Watching something during your treatment
Taking short breaks
Having things explained step by step
Extra reassurance
Minimal conversation
More time to process decisions
There is no judgment and no need to apologise for asking for what you need.

You are welcome to bring your own headphones, snacks, drinks or something to keep you occupied during longer appointments.
